Forums cleanup: Please help

We need a little help cleaning up the forums. Sometimes people post there and old, obsolete things about ancient tours remains.

If you are reading in the forum and come across an item that is out of date, irrelevant, or generally obsolete, please click the little link below it that says "mark obsolete". We'll delete it and we can have a less-cluttered site.

Anne Mustoe passed away

Touring Notes - Your tours, planned tours, looking for riders

It is with great sadness that I learnt that Anne Mustoe passed away on 10 November 2009. She was on her third global cycling tour when she became ill and passed away in Aleppo, Syria. She was 76.

the author of the very first adventure travel book i ever read, and still treasure. to live your life doing what you love to do is a wonderful thing. to die while doing what you love to do most is even more special in its own way. thanks for being you. you rock.

I met anne last december in West Texas, she was a kind soul, and i could tell by the few hours that we spent together that she had a spirit full of love for the world.

Very sad to see her pass, but I hope that many will still hear about her legacy on two wheels
