Orkney to Rome

I'm Bill, I'm an American who is flying to Europe (and quitting my job) for a three month European tour from the Orkney Islands to Rome Italy. I start at the end of the month and would like advice, tips, support of warmshowers members on my "path" and enthusiasts to follow my blog.

Depending on which side of the Pennines you choose to come south, you'll be passing through our neck of the woods. You're welcome to stay (assuming we're not away then ourselves. Our work is a bit unpredictable, so our holidays are too, and we're thinking of grabbing a break in September, depending on what work comes up).
