Touring Notes - Your tours, planned tours, looking for riders

I will be arriving in Berlin on the 1 of July. I arrive at the Schoenefeld airport, around noon. I will be cycling east, but have no definite plans. I hope to meet some other cyclists on this trip.

Cycling to Berlin in August

Hi,

I'll be cycling to Berlin from Eindhoven/Holland in the beginning of August. I'll have to be in Berlin around the 12th to visit my old schoolbuddy with whom I'll visit the Zappanale music festival, three days in Bad Doberan on the Baltic coast which starts on the 14th.

After the festival I have time to travel back to Holland where I have to be on August 31st.

I'm born on Rügen, the largest German island in the Baltic sea. I'm travelling on an old Schauff mountainbike prototype with a BOB trailer.

I'd like company. If someone will be in the area at the times I mentioned please contact me. Perhaps we can cycle together for a bit.

I don't know if I can keep up with you. I have a trek bike with orlieb paniers. I travel for long periods of time and so I have my every thing I need for the trip. I only bought a one way ticket to Glasgow. You said that you are flying to Munich. Where are you flying from? I have not bought my ticket to Germany yet. I speak some German and Polish. My Spanish is very good. I have languages stored on memory sticks that I can insert in my mp3. I can listen to the languages while I am riding and then try out the phrases when I stop to talk to the people. You can go to netlibrary to get the audiobooks. Let's keep in touch.

Hi, which way are you thinking of heading? I will be leaving Stuttgart end of June and peddling north to Cape North at the top of Norway (and Europe)..........if you're interested in hooking-up give me a shout. We could meet up around the Danish/German border. James
