Welcome to Warmshowers.org
Welcome to our community of bike tourists. This is a hospitality site for touring cyclists.
If this is your first time here we suggest that you watch our new videos. Our suggested order for viewing them would be to first see Introduction to Warmshowers.org and then How to create an account on Warmshowers.org. An alternative to watching the videos is to read the FAQ. Besides other information, the FAQ contains the same basic material that you will find in these videos.
If the warmshowers community looks like something you would be interested in joining you can sign up here. You may also browse the member forums at anytime.

Biking Companion
In mid-June, I'm starting in Rapid City, South Dakota, traveling to the Little Big Horn in Montana, up to Glacier National Park, and on through Idaho and Washington to Seattle. Five years ago, my friend and I traveled from Oregon to Baltimore. I'm 55, married and a public school teacher. I'm looking to travel 65 to 80 miles a day, mostly camping and using warmshowers list.

Your Mid-June Trip
Hello Peter,
I would invite you to come stay at our place in Portland, but unfortunately my wife and I will be on our own big bike adventure in Europe and will not be hosting this summer. Sorry.
It seems that there are a lot of folks in portland who will host, at least five or so in my south east neighborhood.
Good luck on your trip.
May the wind be at your back.

Awesome!
That is so exciting. Ya'll have an amazing time. Don't forget to enjoy the beauty on your ride. I know sometimes we can get lost in the daily mileage schedule but take your time and experience each day. Good luck and happy cycling. Live Life!
Thanks we go fairly slowly so
Thanks we go fairly slowly so we can take in the scenery, visit places of interest and eat well, cheers
