Region and Country-Specific Information

Hi all!
I am Luca from Torino, Italy. I will land in Washington DC next May 23th and I will settle for 2 weeks in Silver Spring (MD).
Do you have advices where to get (rent or buy) a proper bike for day rides? Bring one of mine from Italy is not easy, so I will definitely need one!
If you live close, we may share some rides too.
