TURKEY : INTERNATIONAL CYCLOTURISM MEETING 19 – 23 OF MAY

For the national sport day, the cyclists clubs organize a 5 days tour, by bicycle, around the marvelous KORFEZI gulf. It si south of the big city IZMIR, near the cities MUGLA and BODRUM.
Starting from MUGLA, the group will go slowly till BODRUM, then cross the gulf by boat, an go back till MARMARIS and MUGLA.
The tour will be all by small and no trafic roads, along the coast wich is very scenic, or crossing pin trees hoods, with long stop to swim in the sea, talk and share.
In May the weather will be perfect, hot but not to much.
A truck will bring the luggages, and all the safety classical organization will be there.
In Mugla you will be lodged in a folk cyclist house, and then you will have to camp, so please bring a tent and sleeping bag.
The cost is 25 €, lodging, campsite, ferry and food included. You will have to pay the transport till MUGLA.
If you need a bicycle can be lend, so you don’t have the trouble to bring yours.

TURQUIE : RENCONTRES INTERNATIONALES DU CYCLOTOURISME
Du 19 au 23 MAI 2010

Pour la journée Nationale Turque du Sport, les clubs cyclistes organisent un tour de 5 jours, autour du splendide golfe KORFEZI. Ce golfe est situé au Sud de la métropole IZMIR, à proximité des villes de MUGLA et BODRUM.
Le groupe de cyclistes démarre à MUGLA, roule tranquillement jusqu’à BODRUM, puis un ferry le fait traverser le golfe. De là le groupe continue jusqu’à MARMARIS, puis rejoint MUGLA.
Ce tour passe par des petites routes sans trafic,, le long de la cote, avec de splendides points de vue, et traverse des forêts de pins odorantes. De longues pauses permettent de se baigner, et les discussions et partages entre membres.
En cette période, le climat sera doux, sans être trop chaud.
Les baggages seront transportés par une camionette. Les conditions normales de sécurité et sanitaires seront assurées par les organizateurs.
Lors de votre arrivée à MUGLA, vous serez logés au domicile de cyclistes locaux. Ensuite vous aurez à camper, aussi apportez tente et sac de couchage.
Le coût est de 25 €, comprenant le logement, l’occupation du camping, le transport en ferry, et la totalité des repas. Le transport jusqu’à MUGLA est à votre charge.
Il est possible de vous prêter une bicyclette sur place, ce qui vous eviterait les difficultés du transport.
