I just read your post and it was most insightful, and your photos are amazing. I will be leaving the United States in three days to cycle the country for one month. What time of the year did you take the trip? I was surprised to read in your post that you experienced negative celsius temperatures. As it's summer now, do you think i will be wearing shorts most of the time? Did you experience any dangerous insects/snakes? And what were the bad experiences that you had with people? It would mean so much for me to hear back from you.
Thank you,

....a cold country with a hot sun. Looks like an interesting article; I shall relish the read.
Andrew, remember prevailing winds on the coast of Morocco are north to n-east so riding south along the coast keeps the wind on your back.
Hey Richard, the wind pushes all year long like that?I will suffer a lot from that.
Thank you Simon,I think i would benefit a lot from what you have posted.I am planning to cycle through west Africa this September.BTW,how about the direction of wind alongside the coast?
"But the wind will break your heart" someone once told me! Check weather stats on wunderground or windfinder. It's why Essaouira is a kite surfing centre and Taghazout is for surfing. But just go your own way; I'm also a lazybiker!!
