Charles de Gaulle Airport Paris - Bike Assembly Area?

Hi

Does anyone know if there is an area at Charles de Gaulle Airport Paris set aside for assembly of bicycles?

We will be arriving in May and hope to be able to assemble or bikes at the airport to commence our tour.

Thanks in advance.

Assembly

Hello Ron

Nothing there as far as i saw, but i have done it a few times inside the Airports, even before crossing custome house (right next to the delivery band) and they take care of the garbagge (packing carboard box).  In France PPL are Bike friendly and i would just do it right there inside the Airport. Any way if you need to catch the Train, remember in France the Bike goes for free in the whole country. "La Grand Nation"

I don't understand what you mean

but no the bike doen't goes for free in all train

in in some train you have to de disassemble it and put in a bag 120X 90 for ex the TGV from CDG

and in some trains ex ouigo you have to make reseravtion even if the bike is in the bag

 https://www.ouigo.com/faq?question=28054-est-ce-peux-voyager-velo

in the RER (rapid service for paris ) you can do this

Dans le RER, vous pouvez transporter votre vélo :

- les samedis, dimanches et jours fériés toute la journée, (saturday sundays and bank holidays )
- les autres jours avant 6h30, entre 9h et 16h30, puis après 19h. (other day)

Vous devez placer celui-ci sur l’une des plateformes signalées à l’aide du pictogramme suivant :

Vélo

I meant the Bike goes for free and thats great. I dont know about the luxurious TGV and its restrictions but in the slower one i was already twice with my Bike ready to ride and the panniers on. It was Paris-Marseille in a car meant for it;  and the other ride was Lyon-Geneve in regular car.  Sorry for the confusion.

the bike is free in local

the bike is free in local train TER

in rapid train intercites IC and hyper rapîd train TGV it is 10 euros and limited space in both

so when it is full you cannot take train

you have trainline https://www.trainline.fr/search

easier than the other website ouisncf

you must buy your bike ticket with yours

when youclick on  train's detail  is there bike space it is an option

other french train speciality : delays so don't take short connexion between 2 trains :(
