Recommendations for Hosts along Eurovelo 6

I'll be cycling the Eurovelo 6 from Nevers to Budapest this Septemer / October and am looking for recommendations for hosts to reach out to along the route. I've read quite a few posts recently of cyclists mentioning how few responses they've gotten back from potential hosts and how overwhelming and time consuming it can be to sort through all of the hosts that show up in big cities, so I'm hoping some fellow cyclists on the site who have rode these parts before might be able to recommend welcoming hosts they stayed with along the way. Non-warm showers accommodations (hostels, B&B's, etc) recommendations are welcome too! :)

i don't know if it's excactly on your way, but Matej in Kutna Hora (near Prague, Czech Republic) was the best host I enjoyed so far ! You can find him on CouchSurfing.

Recommendations for hosts along the EV6

I agree  it does take a lot of time to searching through all the hosts to find ones who are actually hosting. For this reason  host I take time at the start of eaach summer season to search through all the "hosts" in my city and compile a list of those who really are activiely hosting. I then pass that list on to any cyclist whom I am unable to host.  Of course, it also helps if those who are touring do their own research before setting out, compiling their own lists of active hosts when they have the time ( and electricity) to be able to do so . If, in your requests, you mention that you are sending out multiple requests, I think most hosts understand the reason for that. Those who are able to host will reply. Those who don't reply, forget about them.  :-)  NB: DO notify those who respond to you, to cancel asap if you are not going to stay with them.
