Amsterdam - Copenhagen in August

Hi everybody!

I'm planning a trip which would go from Amsterdam to Copenhagen during the beginning of August (Departure on the 1st).
It's "only" about 1000km (10 or 15 days on the bike), I've never been in this part of Europe that's why I post here. I would know especially if it's possible to cross Denmark from island to island by bike, or if one needs to take an other conveyance.

For the moment we are two (maybe three), from Grenoble. The aim is to take the train to Amsterdam and after to see what's going on there. As it was suggested to me, we will visit Utrecht and Apeldoorn before to go up to the North.

We plan to take a tent (Rock 3 by The North Face), we want to share a good experience with the inhabitant maybe thanks to Warmshower, it worked very well in the Alps and in Switzerland.

So if you want to join us on the road, or to propose a place to sleep close to our road, we are open to any suggestions...
