9 requests, 1 response
Hey, just a quick note that I was looking for a place to stay in SF, and I sent out 9 requests and got only 1 (negative) response. It's cool that people aren't available, but is this ordinary? Should I be casting a wider net?
We had the same trouble a few years ago finding hospitality in SF. I think it may be that people have small places and less availability.
For larger cities, sometimes maybe Couchsurfing.org is better. But overall, we found that we had to send many, many requests when approaching a city like San Francisco.
