I travel for seven months with my friend. We are now in Turkey. Should leave this country until 1. May.
My friend is American and he can't get a visa for Iran. Probably we'll ride separate to Asia.
I can get a visa to Iran and i'd like to ride through Iran, than Turkmenistan and than probably to Kazakhstan (because i don't need a visa for this country).
I can arrive in Iran from Turkey (May or earlier), or from Armenia (June, July...). That will depend on agreement with potential companions.

Also, if someone has ideas how to get to Asia from this part of world, any advices will be welcomed.

I would apply Iran Visa in Trabzon. You will get the visa in one day without reference code. do you need reference code in Istanbul?
reference code will cost you 35 euro extra and you must wait more than 2 weeks

If you apply in Trabzon you dont need invitation letter
and you will you your visa in one day.

just a thought - have you considered Republic of Georgia and thru Azerbaijan? Might work for the American. Don't go to Armenia if you plan on going to Azerbaijan - would cause you difficulties at the border or AZ.
Well, my American friend is gave up of traveling together :(
If I don't find a company for ride through Iran, I think that I'll go around, through Black sea (Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan -- I don't need visas for any of these countries).
Any experiences about alone women riding through Kazakhstan?
