Can I send multiple emails to hosts? For example, there are 100 hosts in Portland, I'm looking for a place to stay. I can click on the "show multiple names on one page" and that's great but I still have to click on every single email. As of now I cut and paste my message but I still have to keep returning to the map site for an unknown area like northern Spain.

What you can do is hold down a modifier key in your browser to open the "email this host" link in the map, so that they open up in their own window/tab. Tabs are good this way.
The whole notification/alert/hosting system needs some attention with regards to matching people up. There is a rewrite in the works, but I'm not sure what ideas they have. I might suggest some ideas when I get back from this adventure I'm on.
