A Ride before (and during Dec)

Hello all

I am looking for some inspiration,

I would like to set off in the next week or so for four weeks, (be good to get back for xmas but not essential).

I am UK based - but willing to travel (fly) to the start point.

So far i have thought of from UK - Morocco, or fly to LA and ride across (W-E) the US (but this may be bigger than i can handle).
The Morocco trip is good s its 'local', the US trip is good because we speak a similar language.

any ideas welcome
