In search of alternative

Since that period, when the idea of a cycling journey around the world was born, decades have passed. Torn between great expectations and apathy we are living our everyday life in envy, to those who dare to live their dreams. Often, there has been a fear in our minds from the greatness of those plans. Slowly reaching that point of no return, which only the highest force of destiny can stop, from realizing it. Most of our thoughts and skills in this period, is focusing on finding ways and means to realize that ideal. Are these common life dreams of an ordinary man? See presentation of the journey ...
Looking for anybody out there in this wide world, willing to cooperate. Would you like to join me on the road, because you feel similarity, the warmth of life, but still some uncertainty before everything new and unknown... In searching of alternative, we can try to support each other... otherwise we will never leave our comfort zone ...

nomad on wheels seeks others to roll with

Leonard, I just updated my profile a bit so you can understand me a bit. I have lived without a home for some years and the bicycle became my method in 2011. Though I have traveled alone mostly for 9 years I would like to find someone or some people to join me is this lifestyle. I am currently in Germany getting my shoulder strong after breaking it. Basically I can go anywhere anytime . I dream of crossing Africa for sure. I do have some fears as you mention some of us may have. I thought maybe mine would hold me back and would need to travel with someone. I realise now it is the WANT to travel with someone, not the need. Please you or anyone that sees this that wants to live outside of the status quo and live each day as it comes contact me. I like to travel as slow as visas permit me...and stop when I want to not just when I am tired at the end of the day. Good luck! Heather

Thank you for your respond, dear Heather Just for consideration, as a complete beginner I would like to say: "don't follow me I'm lost too" As I see you are a real nomad. As a guy who spend whole his yesterday's life as a family father (and husband) I am afraid you are way too high league for me, but who knows, if we don't try we never know. So you WANT to travel with someone. For me it is still uncertain whether I want or need a travel companion. But for me it is no rush, though I know I HAVE TO GO, and choosing cycle companion its a process. If you visit my home page you will certainly see how "unique wussy" I am. If your interest on Peacetraveling is still lasting, PLEASE, make some comment on my pages under: http://www.peacetraveling.com and well see if it fits together Best wishes for you.
