Underline's got to go!

First day spending time in the forums. Great site, great concept, great community... but the green underlined characters everywhere ? Sorry but the underline has to go; it decreases readability big time. Just keep the green text and loose the underline; everything will look much much better.

Yes, I understand that the underlined text represents links. What I'm saying is that the green attribute is enough to indicate to users that it is a link. The underline is graphically redundant, detrimental to the readability and aesthetically, a thorn in an otherwise great site.
