I anticipate exploring more of Eastern Europe this year and solicit inquiries about the trip and interest in joining me.

Flying out of Washington, DC to Vienna, my tentative itinerary is to head north through Eastern Czechia via Brno and Olomouc to Krakow and Zakopane, Poland then south to Kosice, Slovakia, ending the trip from Kosice to Vienna by train.

Total mileage about 500 over three plus weeks, averaging a leisurely 40-50 miles a day with time to enjoy historic sites, towns, villages, the scenery and the local cultures. Proposed dates: September, 2024 or the summer of 2025.

I'm a well-traveled male cycle tourist who would enjoy the company of one other sociable, intrepid cyclist (M/F over 35) willing to bike cheerfully in lousy weather and in sometimes mountainous terrain. Our overnight accommodations will be in B&Bs and small family-run hotels.
