Parking in Burlington VT

Hello!
My husband and I are new hosts to Warm Showers but we have been hearing the praise about this awesome community for years now. We look forward to meeting some of you as you ride through our neck of the woods (Ottawa, Canada).
This Sept. we will be doing a week long cycling trip along Lake Champlain south of Burlington and then crossing over to do a loop through the Adirondacks. We are looking for a spot to leave our car for 1 week. Can anyone recommended a good safe parking area in Burlington. Or is there any host that would let us park our car for a week near their home? (It is a 4 door hatchback so would not take up too much space!). We plan to arrive Sept. 4 and return Sept. 12.
