This April, Warmshowers.org has partnered with Surly, Old Man Mountain and Ortlieb to give a custom painted (Warmshowers colors) Long Haul Trucker touring bike complete with front and rear Old Man Mountain racks and 4 Ortlieb panniers to one lucky member. Our goal for this April fundraiser is to raise $40,000 to continue to support the development of Warmshowers.org. Once the winner has been selected, he/she will be contacted to select their frame size. Last year's custom touring bike was sent to a member in Wales, UK.
Our goal is to connect bike tourers and hosts - one stay at a time - through our global network. This goal would not be possible without the support of members like you. We are continuing our work to improve the host and tourer experience on the website to better connect our community throughout the world. Your donation helps to support the Warmshowers.org mission of connecting touring cyclists with willing hosts. If you are a tourer, you donation honors the tens of thousands of hosts that open up their homes to you every day providing a much needed and deserved respite from the road. If you are a host and/or recent donor we welcome your financial donation, but also recognize your contribution and encourage you to send a postcard to enter the touring bike giveaway contest.
Make a financial donation starting today through April 30th and you'll automatically be entered into the drawing. All participants must also be Warmshowers.org members as of March 26th, 2018 in order to be eligible. Limit one entry per member. Contest ends at midnight MDT on April 30th, 2018.
