Heading MEX from Montreal Advice

I would go through Vermont and then head west in New York then south through Pennsylvania and Virginia, stay in the mountains especially in the summer. The Atlantic coast is kind of built up. Cross the Mississippi in Arkansas, pass through Hot Springs then cross into Mexico at a smaller border crossing in Texas, maybe Piedras Negras. It's pretty chill. Enjoy!
