Hello everybody,
My name is Julie, it's my first post on this forum :)
With a friend we are going cycling from Torino to Venice along the Pô river and I found out about the "VENTO" which is supposed to be a cycle path between the two cities. But the only information I found is in Italian and unfortunately we don't speak Italian : http://www.project.vento.polimi.it/
I couldn't find out if the project was finished yet ?
We have already planned the different stages of our trip but not the exact routes from one place to the other. Our itinerary will follow the one of the VENTO but does anyone know if there is an actual path all the way (and a map for it) or if we should just follow the little roads around the way ?
Thanks
follow po river is good idea. when is too much turns, you can cut by normal roads. in every city you ll find turist office with some maps. also putting tent along river no problem or just ask people if you can put tent on their land.
.
also are some options http://www.aidainbici.it/
take a look, this is the same route as VenTo, which is only a project, instead the following route is rideable: http://www.bicitalia.org/it/bicitalia/gli-itinerari-bicitalia/61-bi2-ciclovia-del-po
Hi Julie,
I use often the translation-function in Chrome. If you have a google-account (e.g. android-mobile phone) it is very simple to use.
