Best places to cycle in november

Hi to you all,

I will have 3 weeks off this up coming november.

I would like to know the destinations and routes you guys have enjoyed in november in the past?

We are open to mostly anywhere in the world and we are thinking of southern Japan, Taiwan any recommandations advice must cycle routes???

We would be departing by plane from Eastern Canada.

Many thanks!

Cuba

I've cycled in Cuba in November and it was nice. Charter airlines are probably the best deal since they don't charge much for the bike but WestJet has flights and reasonable bike charges from Toronto and Montreal as well.

New Mexico

New Mexico in November is beautiful. Fly into Santa Fe and bicycle south toward El Paso. Great ride, lots of scenery, good people.

Taiwan in November is quite

Taiwan in November is quite cool, about 20 deg Celcius, but 3 weeks is too long for Taiwan, I was born in Taiwan, the North to South is only 360km, Only cycle the east if you can. the west is heavily populated - try avoid if you can.

Carretera Austral is nice in November but watchout for rain, 3 weeks is a good time for Carretera Austral, start say Puerto Montt, cycle your way down to Puerto Natales or Punta Arenas and then catch a plane back, roughly 1600km-2000km, most of the roads are sealed when I cycled it in March 2015.

Andes in Bolivia is nice in November, just getting warmer and wetter.

Central Asia and XinJiang of China in November is not too bad either, but cool and may snow, being Canadian I am pretty sure cold temperature is not an issue to you lol I cycled this route in 2009

Or you could come down to New Zealand, 3 weeks is just enough to cycle the South Island. November is about 20 deg Cel here as well. west coast is a bit wet. North Island has too much traffic.

depends on what you want to see.
