I just come back home after travelling 1 month in Tanzania and I'm thinking of my next trip to Philippines...:-)
It will be in January and maybe a part of Februare, it depends the route.
I would be grateful to read your advice and opinions on what route to follow or another tip...

I spent two month cycling in Philippines, mid-November through mid-January, and found it a great place to cycle. I flew in and out of Cebu and went to nine different islands in the Visayas. It's easy to get ferries from island to island. The weather was great, English spoken everywhere, good value for $, friendly people, and lots of beautiful rural cycling. I didn't camp and was able to find acommodation in most towns. The food was okay, easy to find water, and cover bus shelters everywhere - great for shaded rest stops. I don't know why more cyclists don't go to Philippines.
