Most beautiful routes in france?

Hi there!

As I cycled through southern france, Spain and Portugal this winter, and just realised I love france! I really loved to make my way down the Rhone from Lyon and for sure the Camargue and the coastal part of Okcitane. Now, I want to explore more of this beautiful country. Do you have any advise for the most beautiful routes in France?

If you want to visit La

If you want to visit La Bretagne, we loved this way > https://www.tourdemanche.com/, very beautiful countryside and terrific views of the sea.

But, if you like the Rhone Valley, you would love to cross the country from Lyon (or Valence) to Bordeaux. You do not need specific routes, you just need to follow little roads (white on Michelin's french maps) and you'll be alone on the road. We liked so much our last trip : we started in Valence, we visited the south of Massif Central by Le Cheylard > Le Puy en Velay > Chaudes-Aigues > Aurillac. And then, you can join and follow the Dordogne River. It's really great !

Have a good trip :)

My personal favorites so far

My personal favorites so far include Normandie, Bretagne and the Massif Central (e.g. Tarn, Lozère).

What's the best time to visit

What's the best time to visit Normandie and  Bretagne in terms of weather, wind, no mosquitoes?

We have toured in the French alps and on the way done many of the icinic climbs - Alpe d'Huez, Col du Galibier, Ventoux (3 ways - not in the same day so no certificate!). Also, nice river valleys to cycle down eg Isere
