Hi, im planing to cycle to Istanbul this summer, but im not sure will be able to return on tweo wheels, so im checking my options how to come back, i guess train should be cheapest and best option, So if anyone knows can i take my bike on train and how much does it cost, any info please

Hi mate,
As it happens, I came from Sofia by train last week, I think is the same train. Basically, I had to almost fight with the staff to put the bike in the train, but eventually I managed to do it. Train was pretty much empty ( I would say 20% of seats sold). So I think you can try it, there is not plenty of space in the train, )at least in the one I was in) the conductor said that I cannot return by train (does not matter coz I go towards the East)

yeah i think it is the same train,. i read somewhere that even ticket for people you need to buy on train, and one for turkey and another in bulgaria, but what is it is,, how much did it cost you for bike ?
