Cycling from Berlin to Budapest for charity - looking for stays along the way

Hello - I'm a new member and new to long distance cycling.  I'm planning on biking from Berlin to Budapest (~1,000km) to raise money for a charity - the major stops I'm planning are Berlin -> Dresden -> Prague -> Vienna -> Bratislava -> Budapest.  Along the way, I'll need to stay in between cities when the stretches are >100km (I think I can manage 100km/day).  Any advice or tips?  Are there any members that would be able to host me along the way?  I'm 32, from the USA, and the reason I'm riding is to honor a close friend who passed away from brain cancer, leaving her 9 month old daughter behind - the money I raise is being donated to a school in my hometown to promote children's literature and scholarships to the local primary school and high school students.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Jeff

Hi

Hi Jeff,

I would advise you to look at the Warmshower map and decide on your daily distances. When you decide upon your destination, look at possible WS in that region. I too try to do 100km a day but it isn't always possible.

Good luck with your ride and charity!

Best regards,

Martin.
