Bicycle storage reciprocity U.S. and Europe

I would like to find someone to exchange bicycle storage with. I bike tour every summer in Europe but live in the United States. Leaving my bicycle and touring gear (large Ikea bag) somewhere in Europe would make this much easier as it is often difficult (and expensive) to transport my bicycle via airlines.

I have a large heated/finished basement for storage and could exchange storage with someone who wants to bike tour here in the U.S.

I am located between Chicago and Detriot and can transport bicycles a reasonable distance if needed. My wife and I would also welcome bike tourists in our home for a short stay to get over jet lag or rest up before returning home themselves.

See our profile for further details about our location, etc.

Thanks,

David

I'm in the US, too, so no help but I love this idea.

I have storage to trade in SE Michigan.

bike storage in Seattle, Europe & New Zealand

I am also looking for storage in Europe. I can store a bike in the Seattle area and have storage on the south island in NZ.

Bike storage

Hi All

We can offer bike storage in Europe, we have a large shed, unheated but good and dry.  The downside is that we are right on the western fringes of Europe in the NW of Ireland, so it will take a ferry or flight to get to mainland Europe.

All the best.

Rob
