lyIn Hungary wild camping is prohibited. How strictly is this executed? Would only one night overnight stay in a tent (a bivack in fact, not a camp) on a road side cause an intervention?

Hi Piotr !
My brother and me did a couple of wild camping nights in Hungary last week, it went all well. I think the best is to ask people living nearby where is the best place to camp. They always found something nice. Finding a place that had been used before (along the Danube, there were shelters and fireplaces) worked well. Have a nice ride !
