Hi,
I'm thinking in 2023 to possibly cycle west to east coast USA basically following the legendary Route 66, which is now being promoted by the US Adventure Cycling Association. (see link below) I was wondering if anyone out there has some experience of this route, and how cyle and cyclist friendly midwest USA is these days.
Any tips/thoughts welcome!

Hi
Check out crazyguyonabike there are loads of journals of cyclists who have done this route. We did some of the route in 2019, it does have some long remote sections but we really enjoyed it apart from the headwinds, I would definitely advise cycling the route West to East
Good Luck!
