Hi, I am cycling the Pacific Coast Highway from April 25- May 30 2014. I know it is early in the season for this stretch, but that is the time off I have, and besides, the farmers almanac is calling for a warmer and drier spring than normal. I am giving myself 35 days to go from Blaine, WA to San Ysidro, CA, and then to Las Vegas, NV. Anyone is welcome to join. I am a 44 yr old chubby male. I have done 1 previous long distance trip across Canada in 2010. I will mainly be camping. I do not have any reservations as my timeline is a little tight, and I will be taking full advantage of any tailwind days. Should I have any problems or delays, I may take the gotobus from san ysidro to vegas, but as it stands now, I am intending to bicycle the full distance. Averaging 62 miles or 100 kilometers per day should have me right on schedule.
