Bike friendly route from Atlanta, GA to ACA Atlantic Coast Route?
Best bet is to get a GA DOT bike map. Its a state map color coded by traffic volume. I have biked in and out of Atlanta several times and will say its hard to find a biker friendly route. You can get one by calling GA DOT and they are free.

I found some info on Georgia State Bike Routes 40 (Columbus to Savannah) and 70 (Acworth to Snellville, to bypass Atlanta.) but have not yet found route details (maps or cue sheets). My point of departure is Birmingham and I wanted to use the Chief Ladiga/Silver Comet trails to get to the Atlanta area. Considering alternative route of B'ham to Columbus to Savannah.
