Hi all, 

I am planning a trip from Canmore, Alberta to Vancouver Island, BC and back and looking to see if anyone else is interested? There is a rough plan at the moment but am open to input from other riders about alternative routes and detours. Currently planning solo but would be fun to have some company and I believe will make the trip even more epic!

Rough plan: Canmore down to Montana including (Glacier National Park), head west following Northern Tier, cross into back into Canada then to Vancouver Island as far as Tofino. Then come back through Canada on Trans Canadian Trail (also looking at alternative routes). Planning on leaving early June, probably 2nd 3rd or 4th.

Mix of roads and gravel. I plan to camp mostly and use some warmshowers, maybe a hotel if needed. Stopping for delicious food and coffee is important, other activities could be fun too depending if there is somewhere safe to leave the bike, but riding all day is good as well.  I think a typical day could be around 80-150km (50-90miles) per day. 

I will also do some shorter trips in May, departing from Canmore.
