How do I get one step back when searching for a host after clicking on a profile page?
Problem is I do see a (map) page with results, then click on a profile to have a look at it. And see no possibility to go one step back, in order to be able to look at another profile in the map with results. When I click one step back in the Google top bar I have to start all over again with searching and set also the preferences.
Anyone a tip for this issue?
thanks, Jolanda
Yes, this feature of the new site is one of the most unpleasant; it significantly complicates the search and increases the time spent. Also, the map now does not have a full-screen mode and a scale bar. Not to mention many other shortcomings compared to the old version, which was much more usable in my opinion.
I’ve managed to get around this bug by long pressing on a hosts photo and opening their page in a new tab. Same with the send message button which thankfully gets around the cropping bug when displaying a conversation on mobile.
This feature is annoying to say the least, host profile does not open in a new window, and returning to map using backbutton does not always return you to where you were searching.
We tour, we use the map feature to find hosts. We use a computer.
On the old site, you were able to open a hosts profile, click on their map to open a window showiing see other hosts nearby.
This I found very very useful for the way that we tour, if a host did not respond or was unable to host it was very easy to locate another host in the vicinity.
Please can we have this feature back.
Also we had just notched up 100 feedbacks, the new website seems to have mislaid 2 of our feedbacks, not a problem, just odd!
